Laura does it really get better??? I don't even know what sleep is anymore!
The girls are recovering from RSV. They were admitted to the hospital last Saturday. Maggie also had a UTI. They were so sick. They were released on Tuesday but still were very sick little girls. They are just now starting to get back to their full eating schedule. The antibiotics Maggie is on for her UTI have given her severe diareaha(sp?). Her little butt is raw. I have coated it in everything but nothing seems to help when she constantly has poop on. They go back to the pediatrician today for a recheck and I am hoping they have some suggestions. Just in the last 24 hours I can tell that they are feeling much better but they still are not sleeping much. They doze and cat nap. No real sleep. Which means I get no sleep. I am starting to have a hard time dealing with it too. I just so want my life back to normal. I love these babies so much but my God this is so hard........ Sorry I am just feeling a little sorry for myself. I just wanted to give you all an update. Please pray for healthy babies the rest of the winter and for my sanity!! I'm not joking!

I am so sorry your family has had to go through this! I am the mother of triplets and 2 other children. My guys are all much older than your beauties but when they were 3 months old they had RSV- it was a nightmare! They ended up getting pneumonia or bronciolitis every Oct/Nov AND March/April until they were 4! Are your girls getting the synagis shots now? That was not available when my children were babies and I know that it has saved thousands of babies lives over the years. We did a lot of proactive changes in our home in order to ideally cut down on the possibility of allergies and asthma which have been associated with having had severe RSV disease as an infant.
